About
The point is jewelry that connects to a digital story, not just an NFC chip. A chip is a small radio. The story is whatever a tap opens: a sentence, a song, a photograph, a name cut into metal.
A tap, when the piece actually has NFC, asks the phone to read a short record. Often that record is a web address. The page at that address is hosted by the brand or by the chip vendor, not by us, unless a specific product says otherwise. Some lockets in the shelf are not NFC at all. They store a photo on the piece and use the maker's app. We say which is which on the product page.
Whether you can change the link later is not one rule. A few vendors document a way to rewrite it. Others do not. We do not pretend there is a universal answer. If the phone is replaced, a new phone that can read NFC can still open a web address. The address lives on a server. The radio lives in the phone.
We do not sell the pieces. We link to the retailer. We do not publish a street address, a phone number, or a personal name.
